We regularly have tools available for purchase (and in some cases free to existing students of the school). We will be posting details on our social media sites and here of items available. Please contact us for further details or to make a purchase.
When we start a new hobby or business, we (nearly) all want to go out and buy equipment (guilty Your Honour). DON'T! It's so easy to get carried away and end up with the wrong/poor quality equipment.
Here are a few guidelines.
1. Think like your ancient ancestors. They didn't have telephones or the internet or even basic shops.
The most important tool they had was between their ears. Knowledge!
2. Don't buy kits such as soldering kits, bundles of pliers etc. You will often end up with stuff you don't need.
3. Don't buy branded equipment from your favourite school or supplier. They won't be any better than standard equipment and they won't enable you to work any faster. They can also be MUCH more expensive!
